Today I worked with my mentor on my Senior Project. So far I have gotten all my faces done for the world leaders during World War Two. My last one was Joseph Stalin. I have lots to work on yet, I still need to paint it. Hopefully, through March I am able to finish and be happy with my product.

So far all of this Senior stuff is pretty stressful. I've been working on my senior project these past couple of weeks and so far I've made some good progress. I have 3 of my 4 World War 2 faces done and drawn. I am trying to make it easier on myself before I paint, by drawing out the image first. So that way when I do attempt to paint I don't mess it up hopefully. I just hope I have enough time before all these due dates come.
Finally after a long time of waiting and looking I have my paints and brushes. After a trip to Mitchell I've found all the colors I needed and a good amount of sizes of brushes. I also finally got done with my rough draft sketch on my painting and I hope It turns out as well as I image it. Hopefully on the next meeting I will be able to start sketching it out.It has been a long process trying to get everything together to start my project. Luckily over Christmas break, my boss bought the huge canvas as a Christmas Gift, and I had been struggling to find one. So now all I need are the paints and brushes and I should be able to start soon. So far with my mentor we've been discussing on how I was picturing the image and some strategies on how to start.Today is the final day I have to turn in a few assignments for senior project. I am glad I got most of them done. I got my mentor sheets filled out, this is my last journal entry before tomorrow. The only things I need to do is fill out my time log and finish my Table of Contents. These past few days I have enjoyed the photoshop lessons, They are interesting and the final product is very rewarding.
Today I went to go meet with my mentor, James Letcher. Our meeting started at around 2:30 and ended around 4:30. We discussed what my plan was for my senior project. We sort of laid out the foundation for what we need for supplies. He was going to teach me paint methods like blending colors and shadowing. Painting for me is still foreign territory, I am way more familiar with pencil drawing so hopefully I'll be able to outline it with pencil first then paint over it. Overall I hope this is going to be a fun and great learning experience.
So far for our senior project we have been working on the rough drafts of our paper. It has been a very time consuming process. We are to have eight pages done using all the information we gained from our note cards. I would say the hardest part of it all is finding the motivation to hit the deadline. It's been a few weeks since we've started the rough draft and I can't wait to be done with this all.
So far for our senior project it's been a lot of typing and doing notes. We have begun making rough drafts of our senior research project. I have well more than enough resources so far. I have about three pages done for the draft. I have learned quiet a bit more about World War II and I'm pretty satisfied with what I've learned in this process so far.
Today I'm doing alright, so far just waiting to get all of the tedious stuff out of the way. I talked to my parents some more about what I'm going to do for my project. I just hope that I don't get overwhelmed horribly, everything is okay so far. All I have to do is get some papers signed and get some sources. Then I should be fine. I just want to start painting and hope that happens soon.
Today I am currently learning on how to create my website for my senior project. A couple of days ago I had no idea what I was going to do for my project. I asked my mom what I should do she suggested I do something artsy like painting and then a few ideas came to mind. I want to try and do a really big and cool painting about World War 2. I just hope I am able to find a mentor on my project, otherwise sort of excited to start.
